1. Remove the screws from around the outside/underneath of the door trim (5-7 total)
2. Using a very fine pick tool or needle, prise the top of the red/orange tab out from the top approximately 1mm then remove the lock pull upwards. (tab damages easily)
3. Using the pick tool again, prise off the colour coded plastic cover cap in the middle of the interior door handle - remove the 1 screw behind it.
4. Jiggle the plastic door handle free and remove the door handle - remove the screw behind where the handle was, inside the white plastic bracket

5. Push the door trim in where the window winder is, then using a rag in a sawing motion, try to remove the C clip that secures the handle to the shaft. The back of the C-clip is seated forward in the direction of the handle-winder's arm.
(ALTERNATIVE: I use a piece of thin coat hanger wire with small bent-hook end and pull the clip backwards from the shaft).
