Remove the door and window handles. You may need a special tool from the parts store. Then take out all of the screws you can find then remove the retainers on the sides and bottom of the door panel again with a aspecial tool available at the parts store.When all is loose, pull out on the bottom of the panel and press in at the top to disengage the top from the door.
The truck needs to be in a warm area otherwise the plastic pieces will break. Disconnect battery ground. Then remove the screws around the door pull/ armrest. Pop out the electrical switches. Along the bottom and sides are plastic retaining clips, carefully pop them loose. Now the panel is loose and as you pull it away from the door you will be able to see that the panel needs to come up to undo it from the door. Remove the vapor barrier carefully.
First remove the 2 screws near the door interior door handle. The panel is now held in place by a series of plastic fasteners that are barbed so they stay tight when inserted into mouting holes in the door frame. Gently go around the edges of the panel and pry them loose. Be careful around the arm rest as there are 2 plastic tabs that will break off if you are not careful in how you detach it from the panel. Up by the morror remote control you will need to disconect a modular plug and at the lower right you will need to unfasten a light fixture. If you propceed gently around the edges it should come off without much troulbe. Reinstallation is the opposite and pretty staright forward.
1first pop off the black trim, top of door. No screws just pops off 2clips. 2nd pop off door lock and window switches, no screws 3rd pop off reflectors on lower side. 4th there is screws behind reflector and door switches (remove) 5th lift door panel straight up and it should come right off
the trim is held to door with several clips and 2 screws. the window and door lock panel will pop out with a small screwdriver.disconect the wire plugs from switch.the courtesy light lens on door will pop out with small screwdriver. there is one screw in this light.remove that screw. there is one screw viable where you removed switch panel.remove that screw.slide door trim towards top of door a little then pull trim away from door.then lift trim up and off door lock knob.trim is now removed. replacement is exactly opposite, remebereing to pull wires thru to where you can reconnect them.oops nearly forgot.remove light fitting from rear of courtesy light and remember to hook it back up when reinstalling trm

Hey Jay==Simply unplug the motor, remove the bolts holding it on and pull it out . Goodluckjoe I've done this several times on a 72 F250. Not real easy, but possible. Cooling fan is held on with four bolts in front. Remove the fan shroud and look for room in front of fan. If you have some, use a socket and wrench. If not, us a box-end wrench. If bolt are too long and hit the radiator or you don't have enough room, you'll have to pull the radiator. Once the radiator is out, you can access the bolts easily. Be advised that the fan pulley is held on with the same bolts. You'll need to release the belt tension before starting.
My boyfriend and I just did this in his Ford E150. You have to remove the steering wheel (several autopart stores rent steering wheel removers). From there you can see the ignition switch. The ignition switch cylinder is about 4 inches long, and projects into the steering column. All you have to do is press a small tab, then pull out the ignition switch. New ignition switches (with keys) are available at autopart stores. I suggest looking at a picture of the switch before attempting to find the tab yourself. BETTER ANSWER You do not have to remove steering wheel. on the bottom of the steering cover there will be three screw holes and a second smaller hole under the switch. with a pocket screw driver on similar device you can push the tab to release the switch.
If the 360 is in a F100 the point gap is .021. If the 360 is in a F250 or bigger the point gap is .017.

You will then see two screws from the two panels you just removed, remove those screws and then carefully pull the whole panel off. You will then see four screws holding the radio in. Jack up the F250's front end. Remove the wheel. Remove the locking assembly, this will be different depending on which assembly is used (skip this step it the F250 has the slide on type rotor.) Unbolt the brake caliper and swivel it out of the way. The rotor was either unbolted during the locking hub removal, or it is the slide on type that will now just pull off.
