no, i tried, every time i click pause, it stops the film and starts a new one and it's very frustrating.

Actually you can, it's a bit more work then a typical point and shoot camera. But what you need to do (depending on how long you want the video) is film one long continuous clip, and rather than with a normal camera click the shutter... move the subject... click the shutter again, you move your subject, then take your hands out of frame for a second to get the shot. Do that for all your frames.

Then take a screenshot for each frame you need, just make sure your hands are out and animate it with whatever program you usually do it with

No unfortunatly you can't pause while recording on any flip camera, which i personally think is retarted. But you can get all of your videos, save them onto your computer, and put them into vegas, after effects, whatever video editing software you use, and put all your videos together as one.
