depending on model u need to loosen the belt there should be a bolt in the blade were it attatches on to the pulley shaft loosen the bolt take off the lock then the blade when u reinstall dont reverse blade and make sure bolts are tight or youll get vibration and put the brass bearing sleaves in disrepair you dont need to remove the deck
Be sure to check all tires for correct pressure. This can make an inch or more difference. If replacement tires, are they the correct factory size? Your owners manual probably has adjustment steps. Also check for loose nuts on the linkage, or for nuts that have worked loose and dropped off.
A map with 2000 miles per inch would cram more things into the inch than one that uses 1 inch for 1000 miles. So the map with the scale of 1 inch for 1000 miles would show more detail.

Without knowing the exact mower you are working on, I will give you the most common answer. If the blades are belt driven you do not have to align them. They are positioned so that they will not contact each other and will overlap in their cut pattern.
To install a Murray 12.5hp 38-inch cut riding lawn mower, first ensure the mower is on a flat surface and the engine is off. Attach the mower deck by aligning it with the mounting brackets on the chassis and securing it with bolts. Connect the drive belt according to the diagram, ensuring proper routing around pulleys. Finally, check all connections and adjust the mower height as needed before starting the engine.

how do you rout a belt for 42 inch master cut 13aj7955059
some thing's probaly rubing on it. also check the clucth to see if it's working.
One of several reasons: (1) the blades need sharpening; (2) you are trying to mow at a higher speed than is required; (3) one or both blades are installed upside down; (4)one or both blades are bent. My best guess is (1) and/or (2).
Grasses grow from the roots, which are able to avoid the blades of a mower. Study a lawn that has been mown a few days back, and notice that tips have been square cut by the mower blades, yet the grass has grown an inch or two taller (from the bottom).
What is the belt diagram for a 42 inch Murray riding mower? How in the heck do you get an answer to the question? This is so dumb. All this site does is send you to another site. NO ANSWERS whatsoever. What a waste of my time.............i agree this bull........complete waste of my time what a joke a poor poor excuse of internet use
Look under the seat. There should be an info plate.
A typical riding mower with a 38" deck probably comes with a 12.5HP motor. If your mowing requires cutting higher grass or big hills you may want to have one with a larger engine more like a 16.5HP.
