You can change the fly-to speed in Google earth to move more slowly or go warp speed when flying to a location. The speed can be adjusted under Tools/Options/Navigation.

In you want to go fast in Google Earth's flight simulator then you press the PgUp key to accelerate.

Other tricks to explorer faster can be done using the various hot-keys for various functions.

You can use the keyboard, joystick or mouse to fly the flight simulator inside Google Earth, which offers the choice of a F-16 jet fighter or a SR22 high-performance propeller airplane.

Start the flight simulator by pressing CTRL + Alt + A or selecting 'Enter Flight Simulator' from the Tools menu. To take off, first press the Page Up key to increase thrust and move the aircraft down the runway.
