It depends on the sprayer. Some you have to remove tfe tip and clear it with a small wire, others have a tip that reverses to clear clogs. Still others have a knob to increase the paint orifice, thereby allowing the clog to clear. if it's the machine itself, often tapping the pump area with a hammer works great.

∙ 11y agoFlush it out with the solvent you'd thin the paint sprayed; water for latex, mineral spirits for oil, until it is clear. If you plan to use the sprayer again within a couple of weeks, store it with mineral spirits in the system. If it's going to be longer than a couple of weeks, add some motor oil to the mineral spirits.

∙ 11y agoFlush out the material in the pump, hose and gun with the thinner specified for that material until it runs clean, then pump clean mineral spirits into the system through the gun at the lowest pressure possible. Store with mineral spirits up to two weeks, if longer storage is desired, use anti-freeze or an oil and mineral spirits blend instead of straight mineral spirits.

You cannot do this without a way of stopping the water. The sink sprayer is hooked up through your kitchen faucet for a reason. When the faucet is shut off, no water can come through the sprayer. If you hook up the sprayer to a water filter, the handle on the sprayer cannot handle the pressure of the water system and will continually run when the handle packs it in, more than likely when you are not home!

If inlet valve is sticky, refer to fig.1. Push the dustpr-oof plug inside the inlet valve. To fill water into inlet valve and check whether it's leaky. If it's leaky, contact supplier to change it.Fig.72)Check whether the diaphragm is damaged. If it is damaged, oil goes out from outlet hose when it absorbs liquid, in additional, check if there is any hydraulic oil in the pump.Put this machine backward, loosen four fixed bolts on valve assembly, remove them and take out diaphragm to change.It's necessary to discharge air after changing diaphragm. Please follow these steps: Unscrew copper nut of pressure valve, turn on the motor repeatedly till air is out. To check if the air is released, tighten copper nut of pressure valve, remove inlet valve and extend finger into the center hole of inlet valve, gently touch the diaphragm, if you can feel it's vibrating, it means there is no air inside Otherwise, repeat the above.Fig.8Ⅷ.Other trouble shootings1.If the prime valve is leaky, circumfluence accrues in outlet hose when the valve is closed.1). Open and close spray valve in times to check whether inner parts of spray valve are locked.2).Discharge spray valve to check whether it is damaged. No, they have to have a place to attach it. The fitting is in the middle of the faucet underneath directly under the spout.You can also add on a hose sprayer to end of the faucet but you need a special fitting to do this. The fitting needs to be adapted with a quick release. A replacement sprayer with hose is then attached to this fitting along with the quick release. You then attached the whole unit to the end of the faucet. Neat part is that if you move you can take it with you.
