It sould be on the iformation sticker on the fan shroud.
You need gauges to properly charge it.

where is the rear AC blower on the Chevy Astro 98
the rear ac drain is right under the ac unit in rear driver side of van. my 1996 g-10 conversion van had a clear tube that was clogged, and leaked out in the rear soaking the carpet. just remove the clear tubing, clean it out and replace. i dont know about the front.
i own a 2001 Chevy venture warner bro. edition. and the rear air blows hot while the air is on up front.. i had it checked out and the rear has no ac its just a fan for the back..go figure. my customized Chevy express full size van does the same thing
The 2002 Chevy Venture has a dual a/c system. The 2000 might also. There could be a hole in the hose that goes to the left and back of the van, but not in the one that is for the driver's side of the van.
The rear ac evaporator is located behind the interior trim panel on the left rear corner of the van. The refrigerant lines run along the left frame member.

To charge the AC on a 2006 5.3L express van you locate the AC unit under the hood. The owners manual will have diagrams on the engine parts and the type of coolant needed to recharge the AC. You follow the instructions on the coolant.
Usually the leak is where the rear line set goes over the rear axle. Those vehicles had dye in the system that shows green under ultraviolet light. Usually it's in the larger line.
