To change the exterior door handle on a Rover 400, first, remove the interior door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and gently prying it away from the door frame. Next, locate the retaining clips or screws securing the handle from the inside, and carefully detach them. Once the handle is free, disconnect any wiring if applicable, and replace it with the new handle. Finally, reassemble the door by reversing the steps taken to disassemble it.
