On the bottom cowl cover there are screws on the right and left, but the windshield wiper mechanism is also attached to the underside of the lower cowl panel on the drivers side, so you will need to disconnect the wiper hose and electrical connector to completely remove the cowl; leave the wiper assembly attached to the cowl.
