If the art is damaged beyond salvage or repair, it may be better just to start fresh than to attempt to save the piece. Scrapping work is always hard, but it sometimes can be the right thing to do.

Documents that may be damaged will not have all the information and instructions to ensure the task are completely within the customer parameters, also if the any graffiti on documents as not been updated by the relevant personal and the information would be all outdated , but not doing tasks with documents that not update will not have the most accurate and updated information that would lead the task would be wrong and therefore creating scrap.
