About $7 at auto store or $25 at dialers.
The newer Chrysler 300's have 2 options for the transmission. The one that is made by Mercedes does not have a dipstick and will require you to take it to a shop or the dealer to have your fluid level checked.
Engine oil capacity?
the dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine next to the carb. yellow stic with loop at the handle.
In many vehicles, the dipstick tube can be removed. Check and see if this is possible on your vehicle. If so, just remove the tube from around the dipstick. There should then be enough of the dipstick sticking out from the engine to grab on to.
how do i check oil level on Mercedes c240 2001
it is inside the gas tank There isn't one they stopped using them, you have to check it in the car use your display screen.
No
You don't state the year of your CDI...but my guess is that there is no dipstick on your car. The more recent models do not have dipsticks, and the oil level has to be determined from the computer controlled LCD panel on the console...I have a 2005 c240...no dipstick...
The manual that comes originally with vehicle explains how to check oil level .......no dipstick it is checked electronically on the dash using the"buttons" on the left side of the steering wheel
With a spanner

yeah you can buy a dipstick for your car. just call the dealership and give them your year/model and they should be able to get you one. you can also check the oil level through the instrument cluster.
