Technically no. According to documents provided by the Duke of Milan, Ludovico Sforza who had hired Da Vinci to invent weapons of war, Da Vinci custom built a wheel lock musket with a telescope bolted along the barrel. In the Duke's documents, Da Vinci demonstrated its effectiveness by shooting soldiers off the parapet of a castle 1000 yards away. Rifling in mechanical sense was not invented until 1520, a year after Da Vinci's death.
