What to cause a 1999 daewoo not to start after changing timing belt water pump spark plugs?

On a 1998 daewoo matiz after doing a few jobs on it ,it wouldn't start.so i checked the spark from the dizzy cap no spark while turning the engine over. the reason turned out to be the ignition key.got another one and hey presto starts first time.if your engine is sparking then it could only be the belt timing out.so check the timing or better still get someone else to look at it as you may not see where you went wrong .ged

What would make a Daewoo not start?

Most probably its the starter coil. That's evident if on turning the ignition key, there is a clicking sound. It may be also bad alternator with a worn out battery No fuel getting to engine or spark plugs not firing for some reason. Sorry, you have to find out which.

Why will my Daewoo not start it is getting fuel spark?

How does the cps affects the starts of an engine?

The cps other wise know as crank position sensor shows the ecm that the engine is turning over and then the ecm turns on the spark and the fuel to allow the car to start. If the cps is bad the ecm won't see the engine turning over so in turn it won't allow fuel our spark.

79 camaro with a 327 engine that doesn't wan to start i change the starter and spark plugs. and it doesn't start it look like it wan to start but the engine gose around and nothing?

make sure your getting spark at the plugs when your turning it over and if your not it might have blown the ignition control module inside the distriburetor.

What does a crank shaft sensor do?

AnswerIt reads the position and/or speed of an engine as it is rotating. When crankshaft is turning, the sensor will provide a signal to the PCM. The PCM will then allow the engine to start by providing spark and fuel.

Do you have a spark if your engine will start with start fluid?

Does it have: fuel, spark, compression?

Why is a spark plug so importaint?

the spark plug provides the spark necessary to ignite the fuel and air in the engine, which allows your engine to run. without spark plugs, your engine wouldn't start.
