Enamel paint can be used on porcelain or iron bathtubs with great results, so I'll walk you through this process, just in case you're unsure about how to do this.
You Will Need These Materials
Instructions
Clean the bath tub thoroughly with a mixture of white vinegar and water. The vinegar will help remove any dirt or greasy residue on the tub. Rinse the tub to remove the vinegar and dry it with a towel.
Equip a palm sander with 150-grit sandpaper. Sand the inside and the outside of the tub to roughen the surface, this will allow the paint to properly adhere to the bathtub.
Remove the fixtures of the bathtub or cover the fixtures with a plastic bag. Tape the bag down at the base of the fixtures to prevent painting them when you paint the inside of the tub.
Spray the inside of the bathtub with an epoxy enamel spray paint such as Krylon epoxy enamel paint. These paints are available at most home improvement stores and will resist moisture which is necessary for paint on the inside of a bathtub.
Paint the outside of the tub with an oil based metal primer such as Rust-Oleum metal primer. Let the primer dry completely.
Apply a coat of oil based enamel paint to the outside of the tub. Let the first coat of paint dry and then apply a second coat.
Sand the second coat of paint with 1200-grit wet/dry sandpaper used wet. This will help shine the enamel paint.
I hope this helps you out with your project! Good luck!

It will not last very long. Much better to use a full enamel spray or an epoxy base.
A clear enamel spray will just absorb into the cork. You might as well use the paint straight. Get a stain kill primer or a shellac based primer ant coat the cork prior to painting.
liquid, gas-charged, pressurized, wet, enamel paint, or lacquer
You can use any kind of enamel paint, but I would recommend an oil based paint, remove all oil, dirt, grease, dust and simply paint. (spray painting will give you a better finish)
If you mean on top of a spray paiting, just use clear glossy spray paint. Thats what i use as a seal and it works great.
