No you can't, there are no ASDA's in the Republic of Ireland. There are some in Northern Ireland however, this would involve going through the UK Home Office. Most of the ASDA's in Northern Ireland (and the rest of the UK) are generally oversubscribed. A considerable number of applications are overlooked due to the number of prospective applicants, therefore it would be difficult (nothing is impossible) to successfully transfer. That said, if you had considerable experience, university level qualifications, and some good references, and work in a middle or upper management capacity then you may be successful. I do believe that ASDA and Walmart do short term swap deals with their employees. It would be worth checking this out, as an intra company transfer is easier and more economically viable than a permanent resident visa or a temporary work visa.
