most definitely. they can be sonically cleaned, though, for about each, by your local carburetor service shop.
There are many different types of styles which people use called gothic font. These do not have special names though they can be Italian, bold, or underlined.
Originally a pipe cleaner's purpose is to clean tobacco residues in a fife. Though often pipe cleaners are use for handcrafting especially in Kindergarten. A more specific definition can you find in the following Wikipedia Article
No '95 Neon should have a carburetor, if yours does then there's the problem.Seriously though its a throttle body injector and is controlled by your on-board computer. So many things can cause an OBD-II type system to go awry that it's a waste of time to try to guess what the problem is.More than likely its one of the dozen of sensor's you have that help regulate fuel. You need an OBDII compatible scanner to pull codes & diagnose the problem.Sorry to say but your best bet is a good repair shop.
I have the same problem whit my Honda fourtrax 300 1992. I think that its related to the carburetor but I'm not sure though...
Though it sits on top of the engine a carburetor is actually a part of the the fuel delivery system. The carburetor is no longer a part of the modern automobile, being replace by the electronic fuel injection system in the late 1980's - early 1990's.
HP and displacement are only loosely related and dependent on other factors like engine design, carburetor size(mostly venturi), bore and stroke, etc. A dynomometer actually measures HP though there are lengthy mathematical formulas commonly used, also.
You can try spraying some carburetor cleaner into the intake by way of a vacuum line or pcv hose Just a little dab will do you. If the engine tries to start it would indicate that you have a fuel problem.
because, unlike a 4 stroke it doesn't have engine oil lubricating all the engine components, so in the fuel mixture there is oil mixed in to do this job, it is not as effective as the 4 stroke idea though.... which is usually why 2 stroke engines wear and tear more of time .
to get more aire flow though the block.
The 95 engines do not have a carburetor, They are fuel injected / TBI Throttle Body Injection and there is no ajustment on them what so ever. You have other problems. Is check engine light on ?? If so then have engine scaned with an engine scanner and you will find your problem. I have a 95 Chevy 5.7 and its got a carburetor. I really don't know anything a bout them though. Sorry
No. Because the engine is a two stroke. Make sure the engine is a two stroke though. If it is a tiny engine with 1 gear and a pull starter and makes a high pitch sound it is probably a two stroke. Consult your owners manuel or the manufacturer of the bike to see if it is a two stroke or four stroke engine. You will have to change the oil if it is a four stroke, but I think most 47 and not 49 cc bikes are two stroke. If it is a two stroke, no oil changes are required, but you will need to mix a certain amount of 2 stroke engine oil with the fuel. Your owners manuel or manufacturer should be able to tell you the ratio per gallon of gas you will need. Hopefully, this will help.
It could very well be a carbon build up on the valves. I would try some engine cleaner and injector cleaner first though.
Basicly the same design, Yes, The crankshafts do not interchange though since the 455 has 3.25" main journals and the 400 has 3.00" mains. Heads, intakes, cams, oil pans, oil pumps, distributors, ect all interchange though. 400 is 4.12 bore 3.75 stroke 455 is 4.15 bore 4.21 stroke
This question is a bit weird, as 4-stroke engines don't need oil in the fuel. Many 2-stroke engines however do need oil in their fuel, and it should preferably be a special 2-stroke oil. That oil dissolves better and burns cleaner. If you don't have 2-stroke oil the stock recommendation is to use engine oil, but at a higher concentration - say the double. This is to be seen as an emergency measure though, and the engine won't run as well.May I interupt Dabac? Maybe our enquirer has got it backwards and wants to burn some left over two stroke fuel in his four stroke car. If so, it will be quite safe in a once off or an emergency. do not, however, make a habit it or your sparkplugs, valves and exhaust system will suffer.I have a straight forward answer to the question that was asked. NO! Use only 2 cycle oil in a 2 cycle engine. It is foolish to use anything else and there is no good reason to do so.
the air filter (depending on the engine will) two long bolts will go through the air filter and carb and will connect to the intake which should already be attached to the engine. the air filter will sometimes have a case on it though.
Change intake manifolds to a manifold that accepts a carburetor. That's really all you need to do. I'd recommend against it though, because EFI is a LOT more efficient than a carburetor is. HP will likely go down while fuel consumption and emissions will likely go up. Now it will work just fine because there is very little difference internally between an engine that uses a carburetor and an engine that is fuel injected.
