Pick n Save had a business approach of loss leading deals that get you in the door, then they make high margin on every other item you purchase while you are there. Walmart has aggressive low prices across the board on every counter each day. They make a smaller margin in most cases and are successful by selling more items. Many items at regular daily prices even end up lower than less advertised sale items from Pick n Save. Front page ad prices? Pick n Save is the winner.
