Sloths are the herbivores of the rain-forest. They eat the leaves of the trees. Lots of things eat them but like every predator prey relationship if you eat too much prey they become scarce and the predators starve. To protect themselves they remain inconspicuous, moving slowly help them escape notice, algae grows in their fur and help camouflage them.
