magicians often use mirrors to make things look as though their there in other words to produce a reflection and show something that is ot there

and to insure you that the answer that i have just givin you i have been a magican for twenty-five years and i use mirrors in three of my illusions that i perfom on stage but don't be fooled because mirrors arent used so much these days and that's one ofthe reasons that i use them...to keep people guessing
