The animals that eat plants are called herbivore's because they eat green growing plants, some of the animals that eat leaves are deer, cattle, sheep, goats, elephants, giraffes and rabbits.

Animals in the tropical rainforest use plants as shelter by seeking refuge within dense vegetation, such as thick bushes or undergrowth, to hide from predators or harsh weather conditions.
