The Persian Empire is greatest in area. Whether it was bigger depends on what criteria you want to measure the two against - population, wealth etc.

It was smaller than most earlier regions
The Roman Empire stretched from Spain to Iran and from Britain to Ethiopia. It had such areas as Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Romania, North Africa, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, all the little East Mediterranean nations, and such. It was the third largest ancient empire. It was smaller than the ancient Chinese Han Empire and the ancient Persian Empire. But, the Romans lasted much longer than the Persians, and the Republic and Empire days lasted much longer altogether than the Chinese empire (and almost every other one that can be thought of). In all of world history, though, the Romans are number 16. America is number 9. The British Empire was number 1. It was 7 times larger than the Romans and 3.5 times larger than the U.S. at its height. I hope I helped.
Persians were way bigger than. Greek soldier and had better tools
The Greek world had a fairly uniform religion and set of gods. The Persian Empire, stretching from Egypt to central Asia, covered a wide variety of peoples and religions, and it was not the Persian policy to incite religious revolts when they were trying to establish a peaceful and prosperous empire.
The slavery in the Roman Era lasted until the fall of the Empire. It has been calculated that at least 25% of the population of the Empire was enslaved. In Italy the percentage was between 30 and 40% as it is noted by several scholars.
