Warm is to hot as not so bad is to good.
Oh, dude, it's like comparing a lukewarm bath to a scalding hot tub. Warm is to hot as not so good is to medium is basically saying, "Eh, it's not terrible, but it's not great either." It's like choosing between a rock and a hard place, but with temperatures.
bad
good
The analogy of "go is to went" implies a change in tense from present to past. To maintain this pattern, the analogy of "do is to" would require a change in tense as well. The past tense of "do" is "did," so the analogy would be "do is to did."
Warm is to hot as not so bad is to good.

A warm bath is fine when pregnant, but if the water is too hot it isn't good for the baby. So definitely skip hot tubs! :)
