I have asked Zondervan the same question.
They refuse to list the country of origin on their website and Amazon store.
That is because they are sinning.
If they were doing honorable things, they would embrace the light.
I don't have a problem with Chinese Buddhists, Muslims or Atheists making an honest living printing Bibles.
But I can't risk Buddhists, Muslims, Atheists, or even other Christians being forced at gun point so that we can have Bibles in America.
In our time, our economy is centralized around Chinese imports. I can't ask everyone to not ever buy anything made in China. But, I can ask people of all faiths to keep their sacred spaces clean of products of slavery, a form of stolen goods.
When even respectable companies like Apple, use Foxconn to make popular goods, and they have to keep nets at the factory to slow down suicides on company property, then I have too many concerns about a Bible being made by an off brand factory.
If slavery is involved, and we allow it to continue, then we risk an even greater hazard. Allowing slavery in the name of g-d could be a form of blaspheming the h-ly spirit. And if we don't inform companies like Zondervan of the risk, we will be contributing to their, and possibly our own, negative judgement.
Just to be clear, I am not judging, but we need to give people correct information so that they will not face negative judgement in the next life.
