Wow -- really hard to say! Wormwood, Artemisia absinthiumor one of the other Artemisia genus, are typically illegal in the US and most other Western countries. Wormwood is an alkaloidal toxin with halluncinogenic properties, used about 100 years ago in the creation of Absinthe. I am unaware of any curative properties of this dangerous substance. If it really was wormwood (and not just something else called wormwood), I'm not surprised you felt drugged.

How many drivers had drugs other than alcohol in their bodies?

1 in 5Drugs and driving may be a bigger problem than generally recognized. A New England Journal of Medicine report on drivers without alcohol in their systems who were stopped by police for reckless driving found that 45% had marijuana and 25% had cocaine in their systems.A study by the Insurance Institute for Traffic Safety of interstate tractor-trailer drivers found that 15% of all drivers had marijuana, 12% had non-prescription stimulants, 5% had prescription stimulants, 2% had cocaine, and fewer than 1% had alcohol in their systems.A National Transportation Safety Board investigation of fatal truck accidents found that stimulants were the most frequently unidentified (15%) drug class among fatally injured truck drivers. It appears that there is little public awareness of drugged driving and that drugged drivers are less likely to be apprehended than are drunken drivers. In that sense, drugged driving may be safer than drunken driving. However, a person killed by a drugged driver is just as dead as one killed by a drunken driver.

What disease is Wormwood of revelations?

Wormwood is an herb. It is Artemisia absinthium (absinthium, absinthe wormwood, wormwood, common wormwood, green ginger or grand wormwood) is a species of Artemisia, native to temperate regions of Eurasia and northern Africa. Related to sage and tarragon, it is the primary ingredient in the alcoholic beverage called Absinthe, known for the little green fairy. When reading the book of Revelations, or any related type book, it usually works best to first see it as a metaphor, then from the time it was written. Wormwood is mentioned seven times in the Hebrew Testament and once in the Christian Testament, always with the implication of bitterness. Because of the chemical in the herb that promotes psychedelic experiences, one might see the image as people being lead by an illusion, fantasy, or holding to that pursuit with no real intent on the goals. The drink was favored among existentialists of the Victorian era as a way to loosen the mind of its rational constraints as they pursued the meaninglessness of life. ¿Does that apply at the time of the writing of Revelations? Yet, that is where the third step comes in. ¿What does it mean to you?
