I the cab. The transmission fill also supplies all of the hydraulics.
The level check for the hydraulics/transmission/rear axle is pipe plug on the left side of the tractor just in front of the rear axle housing. Oil is supposed to be at that level with all hydraulics extended.
According to the technical department at Warren Oil Company, manufacturer of Coastal Multitrack Tractor Fluid, ISO 68 is 20 weight oil. They further stated that most hydraulics in farm tractors operates on 20 weight oil.
Hydro means water or fluid. Hydraulics uses fluid compression to do its' work.
Hydraulics use liquids as the working fluid, pneumatics use gases as the working fluid.
The manual says 8 quarts or 7.6 liters of case TCH fluid ,you can use Hy-tran Ultra hydraulic fluid. I use the hydraulic transmission fluid from tractor supply and have no problems.
Fluid in motion or fluid in rest. (both can be used)
