For a steady interference pattern, the two sources of light must be monochromatic and coherent.

The light coming from any star contains many wavelengths. Hence, it is not monochromatic.

Also, the light is from two different sources. So, the two sources will not be coherent.

Because of these reasons, the stars will not produce a stable interference pattern.

What is newton ring?

Newton's rings is a phenomenon when an interference pattern is created by the reflection of light between two surfaces. The surfaces are a spherical surface and an adjacent flat surface.

Why an oil film floating on water has coloured pattern?

ordinary light is composed of seven colours where each colour has definite wavelength. so when ordinay light fallls on a thin oil floating in the surface of water, constructive interference take place for one colour at a certain point, while destructive interference occurs for the other colours in this way constructive interference for different colour takes place at different point. Hence a series of coloured fringes or pattern is seen

How do positive charges react with other positive charges?

the opposite charges attract each otherWhen they meet as 'particles' the charges would cancel each other out, or 'annihilate' each other, which may be seen as closely equivalent to 'destructive' wave interference (1 peak + 1 trough = smooth surface)
