Line pressure is too high if it's squirting gas. Check your pump-it sounds like you are blowing carb needle off it's seat.
If you leave your gear down on take-off, you will not need to use the emergency gear release on landing...
This is usually a carb problem. It is not getting enough fuel fast enough. Try spraying the carb out with carb spray. Take the little float bowl out and let the spray run through it. This way you can spray the bottom out also. If this doesnt help then you will have to take the carb off and clean it really good. Use carb spray and some copressed air for best results. Good luck.
the fuel filter is on the carb. you have to take off the fuel line
It's in the carburetor, take the fuel line to the carb off and then the big nut on the carb and the fuel filter is behind the big nut.
85W90 Gear oil.
Take a tape and measure across the ring gear.
Dextron Automatic Transmision Fluid, Not gear lube.
Disconnect the fuel line from the carb with a 5/8" line wrench then unthread the fitting in the carb with a 1" wrench. The fuel filter is inside that fitting. Take note how the filter and spring are assembled into the carb for reassembly.
Depends on how dirty it is if it is not to dirty you might get away with putting about a cap full of good carb cleaner in the gas and running it threw and spraying the external parts but if it is really bad you may have to take it of and dismantle it and soke parts in a good carb cleaning solution . If you are going to take the carb off and take it apart. Take a screwdriver and gently count the turns in on each jet and right them down and wear they are then take a pic of the position of the governor rod and controls). This will help you putting it back together. Good luck.
80 w90 gear oil front and rear!
Not a problem. The starter gear will take care of that. It is autoaligning when you turn the ignition switch.
Take the air cleaner off and you will see the carburetor bolted to the top center of the engine. That is what the air cleaner set's on. The top of the carb.
