....depends upon the species. Some species need a period of enforced rest in order to flower.
a plant is planted in a dark cupboard because it draws more sunlight so it makes the plant healthier
the plant cannot carry on photosynthesis and allot of carbon dioxide
It Stops. It is a by-product of Photosynthesis, and without light Photosynthesis can not take place.
If the leafs that turn dark is also soft in the texture, then I'm pretty sure it is because it is placed to cool (maby it has been to close to a window in frost) If that is not the case, then maby you have been giving it to much water.
1. Destarch a potted plant by placing it in a dark place for about 2 hours. 2. then remove one leaf and test it for starch. 3. sandwich a leaf which is still attached to the plant, between two pieces of black paper. Each paper has a certain pattern cut out from it. Fasten the papers with paper clip. Place the plant in strong sunlight. 4. After a few hours, remove the leaf and test it for starch also.
Grass in the dark, but it will be white.
Eventually, it would die due to 'starvation'.
The plant placed in dark will not carry out photosynthesis whereas the plant placed in light will carry out photosynthesis. if the conditions are kept constant for a long time then the plant placed in dark will wilt and die whereas the plant placed in light will continue to survive.
the plant cannot carry on photosynthesis and allot of carbon dioxide
nope, and yes see if you don't have the plant in the light, the plant won't have energy to start photosynthesis but when in light it does
The plant will actually grow. I've done an experiment before, similar to that. One plant went into the sunlight, and the other into a dark cupboard. They both grew, but the one in the shadows didn't grow as fast. ~Randomest Kalster
Seeds need to be in paper bags or dark colored jars to exclude light, or jars with a good seal placed in a dark cupboard. It is especially important to ensure that seeds are thoroughly dried before storing, even if they appear dry when harvesting them. Ziplock bags are also good provided they are placed in a dark place. Envelopes can also be used and then packed into a jar.
it may grow very fast in the dark area
Twice a year is the frequency with which compost fertilizer is used on potted plants. Dark-colored, fresh-smelling, nutrient-rich organic matter called compost or humus may be applied at the beginning of a plant's growing season and at the end. That tends to translate into a sprinkling of compost, at a ratio of no more than 0.25 or 0.50 to 1 of fertilizer to potting mix, in early spring and in early to late fall, depending upon the potted plant.
it looks like farm crops ****************************************************** Such a plant tends to grow long, weak and lanky. The colour may also be less that the normal healthy green expected. Freshly sown seeds in a plant-pot are placed in the dark to encourage initial sprouting, but the plant must be placed in light as soon as the first true leaf-stem has grown.
When the plant is placed in sunlight having sufficient water to absorb, it undergoes rapid transpiration and upward movement of water (ascent of sap). This phenomenon is slowed down in dark without water.

Next to the Barn is a small building. Inside that building is a wall that holds Tools. On wall on the other side of the room there is a dark cupboard. Inside that cupboard is where Takakura places the items you ordered.
