I never heard of Charles Darwin being "the most dangerous man in England, but there is a reason he may have been considered in that way. Even though Charles Darwin was a religious man, many people considered his theory of evolution to be contradictory to The Bible. This led to much controversy at the time, and has continued to be the cause of controversy between those who do and those who those who don't believe in his theory of evolution, as opposed to creationism, as is taught in the bible.
