the ignition key has a computer chip inside it. if you use the wrong key or that chip gets scrambled it activates the anti-theft. take your keys to a dealer and have them checked. if you have the vin they can test them. if you had a duplicate key made by someone other than Ford it won't be programmed for your vehicle. i had one made at the hardware store. it will open the door locks and turn the ignition, but not start it.
Yes, the factory alarm can cause a no start.

The factory alarm is an integral part of the engine and body computers. It can not be disconnected.
I have a 2004 F150 Heritage and was having an issue with the alarm going off when I tried to start the truck. You should have a black button under the driver side dash down by the Hood release that is the kill switch for the alarm if you hold that down while starting the truck it should keep the alarm from sounding and killing the engine.

The alarm of a 2004 Honda Accord will go off when the battery is disconnected because it is part of the anti-theft systems programing. When the battery is reconnected the alarm automatically arms itself.
You will have to uninstall the alarm and rewire the vehicle. It is likely the ignition wires are run through the alarm.

First of all it's a Sebring... place dynamite under the car. Make sure not to touch it (the car I mean)! Then blow up dynamite and well problem solved.
The mileage from a 2004 Cavalier Sport can depend on several things. A well maintained engine with regular tune-ups will last significantly longer than a neglected engine. The vehicles can last over 200,000 miles.
