Why does handbrake light on rover 214si keep flashing when driving in second gear Never in any other gear just second?

I have the same thing with my 220Gsi..
It seems it has nothing to do with the handbrake though.
I suspect it has to do with the level of your steering fluid.
I will check it out and let you know later this week

Where is the eka code located in a rover 214si?
It isn't on the car or in the handbook(unless someone has already obtained it and written it down, you've won a watch) you need to get it from the dealer(see previous post).
You have lost your key fob for rover 214Si cant get in help?
Call the dealership, they have all the key numbers and codes on file. If you're not the original owner you'll need to have the VIN so they can look it up.
How do you install a stereo into a 214si for some reason all the electrics in your car have now gone as a result of attempting to fit it?
your 214 will have standard "iso" (2 black plugs) that plug into the radio, all new radios now have this connection so its a simply case of plug and play, as for your electrics going, check your fuses
