Probably because it is clean, leave it on the filter setting for a while and you will find that the pressure will increase as the filter gets dirtier, when it get high (usually in the red ) you will have to backwash.

∙ 10y agoIf the pump is working, then you should have pressure. Low or no pressure usually means that the gauge itself needs to be replaced.
High pressure usually means the filter is clogged with debris and needs to be backwashed (if Sand or DE) or the Cartridge cleaned.
