ANS 2 -Many glues are 'carried' in a solvent that needs to dry to set the glue, this solvent will dry only when exposed to air.

∙ 9y agoLike any products, some are good and some are not so good. - However in glues and adhesives the human factor is also involved. People seldom use the correct adhesive in the exact recommended way. Many people assume that a single glue will do everything. This is not the case . I have a box of over 12 adhesives. I use the right glue for the purpose and I clean the parts to be glued every time. Most people do not do this and then get less than ideal results.
