2 great generals; But they do not live at the same time. Alexander is 300 BC or thereabouts, Julius Caesar is 200 years, or so, later. Many would say that Alexander is perhaps the greatest of them all, but it's a bit like comparing roast beef & chocolate, & I like both !

Alexander is better as we see that Alexander had a short life compare to Julius Caesar. And in that short time he conquered the world, and on the way his soldiers grumbled and felt homesick as they were tired of fighting. Caesar dd not conquer the whole world.

You cannot really say, but yes Alexander is more well known especially Bradshaw of his story with Porus. Another point is that Alexander conquered much more and at an earlier age and his ambitions were higher as well. Julius Caesar you can say is known for his affair with Cleopatra. According o me Alexander was more successful.

Julius Caesar was a Senator in the Roman Republic (before it became the Roman Empire). Alexander the great was a Macedonian leader whose father, Philip, took over Greece. As king, Alexander crushed the Persian Empire.
