Hi Landmark Forest Adventure Park as it is now known is owned by Visitor Centres Limited a company set up by Mr David Hayes who got the original idea for a commercial Visitor Centre following a stint working for the US National Park Service in the late sixties.
The centre was first known as Landmark Visitor Centre and was set up in 1970 with the intention of telling the story of the Highlands.
This was the first purpose built Visitor Centre in Europe with the first nature Trail in the UK.
Later it became Landmark Highland Heritage and Adventure Park, then Landmark Forest Theme Park and finally Landmark Forest Adventure Park.
