The USS Eisenhower carrier is the most strongest aircraft carrier in the World.
Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga was created on 1929-11-30.
The George Bush Aircraft Carrier can hold 150 airplanes.
Japanese aircraft carrier Unyō was created on 1942-05-31.
Japanese aircraft carrier Hiryū was created on 1939-07-05.
All of the Mercury missions ended (as did all missions prior to the Shuttle Program) via capsule splashdown and recovery by a Navy carrier in the Pacific Ocean.
Being a capsule, it simply re-entered, and landed in the ocean, later to be recovered by a carrier.
Uss America CV-66
The command module carrying the crew of Apollo 11 landed in the Pacific Ocean, near an aircraft carrier. It floated in the water until the crew was recovered, then scuba divers attached a hook to the top and it was carried by a helicopter to the aircraft carrier.
Only there's no one on the aircraft carrier.

Carrier fighter vs carrier fighter. Aircraft carrier duels. Carrier planes (naval aircraft) have folding wings/or wing-tips for shipboard operations.
Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga was created on 1929-11-30.
Vikrant class aircraft carrier was created in 2015.
There is a flight deck on an aircraft carrier but, it is not an aircraft carrier as there are many other ships that have flight decks on them. The amphibious assault ship is a good example.
After the astronauts have finished their business in space a final stage on the rocket ignites and sends the rocket towards the earth on the right course, (which is programmed into the rockets computer guided flight plan). When the rocket has gotten close enough to the atmosphere, so that the astronauts no longer need thrust it falls off. The astronauts are then in their command capsule which parachutes into the Atlantic ocean. The fallen capsule is then recovered by helicopters and placed on an aircraft carrier.
