Isa:65:25: The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. Isa:11:6: The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. Isa:11:7: And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
No, the quote "the lion and the lamb shall lie down together" is from the Bible, specifically Isaiah 11:6. Stephanie Meyer did use a variation of this quote in her "Twilight" series, but she did not create the original quote.

The words "loin of God" are not in the Bible. Perhaps you mean "lion"? The Lord Jesus Christ is referred to in Revelation 5:5 as the "Lion of the tribe of Judah". "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."
The word "lion" is mentioned 157 times in the Bible.
It's a biblical reference, I do believe. "...and the lion shall lie down with the lamb""and so the lion fell in love with the lamb" is a play on the famous phrase from the Book of Revelations in the Bible: "...and so the lion shall lay down with the lamb." This indicates what will happen when the second coming of Jesus takes place in the religion of Christianity; the lion and the lamb will lay down together, enemies will become friends, and hate will not exist in the kingdom of Heaven.
The print is from an etching or painting made in 1896 by Strutt titled 'Peace'. It is based on Isaiah 11:6-7: 6The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
No it isn't, it is in the bible. Of course, the bit about the stupid lamb and the sick, masochistic lion aren't in the bible.
That phrase is not in the Bible however in Isaiah 11:6, and 65:25 it speks of a time of peace, when the Messiah returns to the earth when the lion, leopard, lamb shall feed together, and lie down together. Referring to a literal reversing of the natural predator/prey state that nature is subject to currently because of the curse. That one day will end, it goes on to say that a child will be able to handle what is now a deadly venoumous snake etc, without fear of being harmed, etc.
Isa:65:25: The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Isaiah 11:6 - The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. [NKJV]
they compared themselves to a lion and a lamb. "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb". Bella was the lamb and edward the lion.
