No you don't go to a thrift store to find a value of a Native American arrowhead. Thrift stores are generally full of reproductions and the authentic pieces you see there are over priced generally and that's why they are for sale and never get sold. There are several different revenues on finding value of Native American artifacts the best way is to find a collector of artifacts that will give an appraisal for them but make sure you find someone that has has enough experience in appraisals of artifacts. You can also go and purchase a price guide that will give you an estimated price of the piece. I am a contributor in the Overstreet series of Indian Arrowheads Identification And Price Guide. Now don't take the prices to heart due to their is no 2 artifacts the same and the price depends on the type, material, color, and degree of workmanship. Also you as a seller without the connections to the collectors desiring the pieces would have to sell at whole sale price generally half of the value of the piece. I hope this will answer your question better then the last person. Also where was your item found?
