excessive amp draw, possible bad wiring or bad connection to pump, check connections for corrosion, check and/or change relay, make sure fuse is of the correct amperage.---make sure when pump was changed a new strainer sock was installed correctly and there are no contaminets in tank, clean tank good when replacing pump. Also change where you get fuel. there pumps make not be filtering fuel before it goes in your vehicle.
it might not have enough brake fluid or your ABS is going bad. i would take it to a shop cause that can be serious.

No pickup truck that is "cheap" is going to qualify as a "good" pickup truck. I would suggest spending the money on a high-quality pickup truck. It doesn't have to be luxury, but you definitely get what you pay for.
I'd check the fuel filter first.

a bad coil, a bad ignition pickup, bad grounds from battery etc... the library should have a shop manual for this vehicle, you can make copies of the right sections :)
