On a 1987 Chevy Celebrity if the ignition switch is bad would it drain the battery?

If the ignition switch is faulty it could leave an electrical component turned on and that could potentially cause a dead battery. That would not necessarily be the case and you might notice if the switch is supposed to be off but something still runs.

What would cause a fuse to blow when turning the light switch off if you have 3 switches hooked up in your bathroom and the power blows every time you turn the switch off but not while it is on?

Is it just one switch that causes it or do they all cause it? Sometimes a switch will cause a surge when turned off because electricity will arc inside the switch trying to continue powering the device. This can be seen if you unplug an appliance while its still on: you'll see an arc at the outlet. Loose wiring at the switch or anywhere on the circuit will cause this as well.

What would cause the dome light to stay on and not go off?

Often there is a switch on the dashboard, or an "on" function to an existing switch, such as a dimmer switch. It merely needs to be turned "off" and doors closed, to watch for light going out, notwithstanding any timer or short convenience period.
