The water pump will leak coolant. In most of North America we run an antifreeze and water mixture.
In some places they run water either an anti corrosion additive.
The type of deposit that results from a turbidity current is a sediment deposit, or a turbidite. This type of deposit makes the water denser, which makes it sink deeper while the clearer water rises.
P.S. fluid or transmission fluid
It's possible but not likely. As far as you are sure that you have put the right kind of fluid, it's not the fluid's fault. It might be joints, power steering pump, pump steering rack, some air or water in the system.

power steering fluid
Automatic transmission fluid.
A positive displacement pump causes a fluid to move by trapping a fixed amount of it then forcing (displacing) that trapped volume into the discharge pipe. Centrifugal pumps impart pressure to the fluid, to cause a pressure differential and cause flow, but even if the outlet is sealed, the pump can continue to run because it hasn't trapped the fluid. When no flow is occurring, a centrifugal pump acts like a propeller spinning in the water. If flow is stopped on a line that a positive displacement pump is supplying flow to, the pump is forced to stop since the trapped fluid prevents it from moving any more fluid.
Pygmy goat blood
A gear type pump has two gears in it that pull fluid through between the teeth creating pressure as it is forced out the other side.
power steering fluid
if this hole is on the water pump you may need to replace it. depending what type of pump it is there is two holes on the water pump and when it is faulty fluid gets pushed through i had the same question get a haynes manuel there about 30 bucks it tells you everything
Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid ( according to the owners manual )
