Check all your fuses first Then I would check for power at switch with a test light With key on you should have power on one side of switch .If you have power going in next step is to check with switch activated you should have power out . If you have power in and out of switch chances are motor is bad but you should check for power at motor also.Hope this helps.
You should check the window switch first. It only take's a few minuets and it will save you from a drawn out process of taking the door apart. A weak window motor will "over-load" the switch and will melt the plastic parts inside the switch. If the switch is melted or bad you will have to replace the motor or it will melt the new switch. But, check the switch first. To change the motor, you will need to drill the rivet's off and use rivet's insted of screws to install the new motor. It's much easier than using the screwes
First check the fuse, then check the bulbs, then check the switch.
the low beams should not be on a fuse it will either be the dimmer switch or the headlight its self. for your problem i would check the dimmer switch first J.
first check brake light fuse second check light bulbs, they should be double element third check the brake light switch located on the brake pedal
First check your fuses if none are blown then check the switch.
possible multifunction switch, check your headlight bulbs first
heck the fuse first, then the switch.
The reversing light circuit is controlled by a plunger type switch screwed into the top of the transmission casing. First check that the fuse has not blown. To test disconnect the wiring connector to the switch use a multimeter resistance should be high but when reverse is selected should be low if on buzzer mode the meter should buzz. If no buzz switch is broken if buzzing look for a wiring connection that is broken because the switch is ok.
First check the fuse. See if it's blown and if not check it for 12V with a test light. If you have 12V at the fuse go to the bulbs and be sure they are not blown. If not go to the brake light switch. You should have 12V going into the switch. Depress the brake pedal and check for 12V coming out of the switch. If all this checks out okay the problem would probably be in the signal switch. Do the emergency flashers work?
first sign of life
There's a solinoid in the transmission.Suggest to check that first. Turn on interior lights. Start engine. If the lights go out when the engine stalls, you have a bad ignition switch.
