Nedra is a sort of female approximation of Edward- maybe somebody was literally passing out Cigars ( King Edward, famous brand of Cigars, was popular in this area and in Hoboken, said to have inspired the naming of the Edwards Hotel in l902- when King Edward was formally crowned. boy we get off base.
