I bought a pair this last week for 10 bucks. I think they ought to be worth more because the right eyepiece to axle connector arm is broken and the left objective is loose. That said these guys have huge eye pieces with an inch diameter of glass to bring to your eye. They focus fine and have a wide view that makes you feel like your standing right up there. That said one can buy a pair of Nikon 7X50mm new with modern coatings for 80 bucks.
I am pitching an answer because I hope to hear how this question is ultimately answered.
