It is supposed to be in probably the early 1900's since Peter meets in one of the later books Jamie Barrie (the author of Peter and Wendy), in the park, and Barrie seems as if he will plan something such as a story, because of his strange encounter with the red headed boy Peter.And his story was published in the early 1900's.
