To determine the oxygen saturation of hemoglobin.
count pulse on wrist for 15sec.and x by 4.
A pulse oximeter measures the oxygenation of patient's hemoglobin. To use a pulse oximeter you simply put the sensor on your index finger.
Count pulse
yes it does
put on finger on the pulse and count how many beats there are derrrhh xx
If you count the pulse for 15 seconds, multiply by 4. If you count for 30 seconds, multiply by 2. You're trying to get to beats per minute.
A pulse oximeter measures the blood's oxygen levels. Usually attached to a person's finger, it measures the amount of hemoglobin saturated by oxygen. It uses two wavelengths of lights which are used to make the calculation based on how much of the wavelength is absorbed by the hemoglobin.

thhe rate is eating ice crem and the breathing rate is eating chocolate ice cream
Play two fingers on the pulse in the wrist (just below the thumb). Count each pulse for 30 seconds, then times by two. This will give the pulse rate for one minute. Obviously, you take the pulse once you have rested and cooled down for a few minutes first.
