Ventral root is the ventral portion of spinal cord, there is no ganglion, cell body is of motor types ,cell info goes out of spinal cord of anterior horn.
dorsal root is dorsal portion of spinal cord,it posses ganglion, cell body is of sensory types, information goes into spinal cord posterior horn
dorsal root ganglion has unipolar cellswhile sympathetic ganglion has multipolar cells
Dorsal and ventral roots are a feature of spinal nerves only. Cranial nerves do not have dorsal and ventral roots.
Dorsal is the back and ventral is anterior
The shell of a turtle (arapace is the dorsal shell, plastron is the ventral shell)
the ventral side. the dorsal side is the back of the rat ( think of the dorsal fin on a wale is on its back )
Melon.
Ventral relates to the belly or abdomen of the frog.
the dorsal is along the back and is darker from the main blood stream, where as the ventral is along the front and is very light from the less blood in the certain vessel....so yeah
The tips of the anterior horns are broader and less tapered than those of the posterior horns. Human Anatomy & Physiology Laboratory Manual Ninth Edition Elaine N. Marieb & Susan J. Mitchell
You can tell cause dirt comes out the dorsal side. the dorsal side is darker because its the worms main blood vessel like our aorta
Upper part darker, can see venation more clearly. Upper part (ventral) originates from xylem. Lower part (dorsal) originates from phloem. Do not confuse with other denominations of dorsal/ventral.
dorsal
dorsal
The ventral side is lighter than the dorsal.
Dorsal and ventral roots are a feature of spinal nerves only. Cranial nerves do not have dorsal and ventral roots.
Dorsal root ganglion
The opposite of it's dorsal. The Dorsal is the back, Ventral is the Front. Hence the dorsal fin on ocean-based organisms
The ventral side is lighter than the dorsal.
