1)The House members are highly specialized. 2)Operation of the Senate is less centralized and less formal. 3)The House has a Rules Committee.
There are many difference between the House of Representatives and the Senate, but there is one primary difference, which is that Representatives are elected according to population. A Representative is elected in an electoral district, not in an entire state, and therefore the more populous states get more Representatives according to their population. Sentarors represent a whole state, and there are exactly two Senators per state.

the house is based on population of the state where as the senate is made up of two representitives of each state no matter how big or small the population is.
Members of the House are generally called congressmen, congresswomen, or representatives. members of the Senate are the Senators. House representatives serve for 2 years while in the Senate they serve for 6 years. All states are represented equally in the U.S. Senate by two senators (in contrast to the House of Representatives, where a state's representation is in proportion to the size of the state's population).

There are only two members of the Senate representing each state, so each state has equal representation no matter what the population of that state may be. The number of members in the House of Representatives is determined by population 'districts,' with each member representing about 650,000 people. For example, Montana and Wyoming only have one each, while California has 53 representatives and Texas has 32. My state (Missouri) has 9 congressional districts, giving us 9 Congressmen serving in the House of Representatives.
