On March 27, 2006, Sam Heath -- known as "Sam Sam the Bubble Man" -- set the Guinness World Record for most people inside a single bubble when he enclosed 19 boys and girls over 5 feet tall inside a giant bubble at Chessington World of Adventures outside London in Surrey, UK. He used a 152 cm circular wooden platform for the children to stand on, surrounded by a 25cm gap to hold the bubble solution.

The biggest bubble ever blown was blown by a blue whale who somehow got some bubble gum. Some small child while crossing the ocean must have accidentally lost his gum over the side of the boat and the whale found it and started chewing. The bubble happened completely by accident because the whale kept burping and started to float to the top of the water.
Alternatively, there was a giant shipment of bubble gum coming to the US from Japan. The ship ran into a giant storm and due to the giant waves, one crate of gum fell over the side and the gum fell out. A passing blue whale was curious about this new stuff in its water. It swam around it, investigating, and eventually decided to see how it tasted. Once it was in the whale's mouth, it stuck and could not be swallowed. The whale started to burp and to go up to the surface for air. It started to breach (jump into the air) and would not go back down. The bubble was too big and could support the whale's weight. It's probably still there in the stratosphere.
