veterans
The correct spelling is just as you have used it in your question, Veterans Day. No apostrophe is used because it is the plural form of the word "Veteran" not any possessive form.
The VA website just shows it as Veterans Day. There is no apostrophe used. The word "Veteran" is used in its plural form, not in any possessive form.
Plural nouns ending in -s normally show the possessive by adding an apostrophe alone, rather than an apostrophe and an s. Veterans would become veterans'.

The Spanish-American War of 1898 was the first "Foreign" war fought on foreign soil by US forces. In 1899 veterans of that war formed the "Veterans of FOREIGN Wars" to protect themselves from political moves that would/could short change veterans and associated benefits. The first established military veterans group had been GAR (Grand Army of the Republic), which consisted of (Union) US Civil War veterans; they died out when the last Civil War (GAR member) veteran passed on. Each veterans group is normally created to protect the benefits of that particular veterans "group"; as the years go by, politicians perform budget cuts...which often effects veterans. The "American Legion" was formed by WW1 vets; AMVETs (American Veterans) was formed by WW2 vets. The most unique veterans group was the VVA (Vietnam Veterans of America); this group was (often) NOT allowed to join established veterans organizations during the 1960's; so they formed their own group in about 1978. The VVA's motto, is "they will never turn their back on another veteran."
Monument in Washington, D.C., designed by maya-lin. It consists of two low, black granite walls that meet to form a wide V shape. Engraved on the mirrorlike surface are the names of the more than 58,000 U.S. dead and missing-in-action who served in the vietnam-war, listed by date of casualty. When Lin's abstract design was announced, several veterans groups and others protested; eventually a traditional statue depicting three servicemen with a flag was commissioned, to stand at the entrance to the site. Since its dedication in 1982, the controversial wall has become one of the city's most visited and most affecting tourist attractions. The Memorial was built with funds donated from corporations, veterans organizations and individuals throughout the United States.
The forms that one needs for the Veterans Affairs are VA Form 21-526, VA Form, 26-1880, and VA Form 21-534 which can be procured from field offices of the branch of the armed forces one has served in.
Hot packs are a very common form of heat treatment utilizing conduction as a form of heat transfer.
Not far at all. I've talked to MANY ex-military veterans -- the opinion I've come to form over the years is that failure in Vietnam primarily is due to flawed politics and unclear directions given to commanders at the highest levels. I'm not naive though. There are certainly more than their fair share of purely military failures at virtually all levels. But it is my belief that failure in Vietnam was due primarily to the politicians.
The verb of treatment is treat. As in "to treat something or someone".
Actually, neither is correct! The US government has stated that the official name of the holiday is Veterans Day, without any apostrophe. The word "Veteran" is used in its plural form, not in any possessive form.
